Wilhelm Lucas von Cranach (1861–1918) was a German jeweler who worked in the Art Nouveau style. He was born in Stargart and worked his way up from a forester to an artist and jewelry maker.

At the 1900 exhibition in Berlin, his works changed the idea of applied art. Later recognition came in 1903 thanks to the art historian Wilhelm von Bodo.

It was Wilhelm Lucas von Cranach who introduced animal and plant motifs into jewelry. He is known as a revolutionary in jewelry and mastered various techniques.

The website ru.pinterest.com presents some jewelry created by this designer, for example, the Art-Nouveau Brooch, the Gorgoneion pendant (Medusa’s head).
