The creation of the unique brand of vintage jewelry Citali (which means “Star”) began in 1968 in the picturesque Mexican city of Guadalajara under the skillful leadership of Francisco Sanchez Sahagún, a master with a long family history of silversmithing. This modest family project not only survived the deep crisis of the 1970s in the Mexican jewelry industry; thanks to its exceptional artistic vision and meticulous approach to creating unique jewelry, Citali broke out beyond the borders of its hometown.

The brand reached the pinnacle of recognition already in the mid-1980s: its collections began to shine at leading international exhibitions and in elite European boutiques. This led to well-deserved victories in numerous prestigious design competitions.

Since the new millennium, since 2010, Citali has strengthened its position thanks to its cooperation with the famous Madrid fashion house L’atelier de Minerva. Today, the brand is run by the duo Francisco Sánchez Sahagún and his daughter Rosana Sánchez, a professional jewellery designer, ensuring the continuation of the proud tradition of craftsmanship and innovation in the world of vintage jewellery.
