Reinad is an American brand of vintage costume jewelry that existed from 1922 to 1954.
History of the foundation
The Reinad company was founded in 1922. Initially, it produced jewelry for clothing brands, in particular, for Chanel.
At the end of 1941, Reinad Novelty Co., Inc. launched a line of its own jewelry under the Reinad brand. However, for many years the company also produced products for leading fashion houses and jewelry companies, including Boucher, Hattie Carnegie, Eisenberg Ice.
The company ceased operations in 1954. Reinad jewelry is rare and prized by collectors.
