Mary Engelbreit, born in 1952, is known as a talented illustrator whose works decorate children’s books, calendars and greeting cards. She is also the author of original jewelry, handcrafted based on her own drawings.

In 1982, the Mary Engelbreit brand was launched in Webster Grove, Missouri, USA, offering a variety of products: from calendars and mugs to figurines, T-shirts and accessories.

In the 1980s and 1990s, Engelbreit designed jewelry under the ME Ink brand, made of sterling silver. These items are now valued as antiques and are of interest to collectors.

Although Mary Engelbreit ceased operations in 2002, Mary Engelbreit Retail, Inc., founded in 1985 and based in St. Louis, Missouri, continues to thrive.

Today, in 2024, Mary Engelbreit Enterprises has licensing agreements with numerous manufacturers that have used its illustrations on over 6,500 different products.
