
John Bryan (1897-1982) was an Art Nouveau jeweler active in the 1950s and 1960s. He made jewelry in Asheville, North Carolina. He worked as a teacher all his life, but at the age of 50 he decided to change his life, returned to his hometown and began making jewelry. John labeled his jewelry Bryan, and his pieces were made of silver and copper, with enamel and natural stones. He made jewelry for the rest of his life, and died at the age of 85.
