In the mid-20th century (around 1955), Joseph Bobley, who had already gained fame as the founder of the famous CASTLECLIFF jewelry brand together with Clifford First back in 1918, created the exclusive jewelry brand BOBLEY.
Although not as widely recognized as its predecessor, the quality of the products remained at a high aesthetic and technical level. Bobley production lines flourished in New York until 1977.
