In the mid-20th century (1960s), a jewelry brand called “Bernard Chaudron Jewelry” was born in Montreal, founded by a married couple – a prominent silversmith, sculptor and designer Bernard Henri Chaudron (1931-2013) and his wife, an enamel artist, Louise.

Chaudron was a multifaceted man: he created exquisite accessories in the spirit of Art Nouveau and abstract art, using silver, gold, bronze, pewter, and also masterfully combining enamel with natural pearls. His works were distinguished by their individuality – the initials “BC” became the brand’s calling card; they were often engraved by hand.

In 1979, his son Antoine continued the legacy by founding the company “Atelier Bernard Chaudron Inc”, becoming its president. In 1995, expansion followed: the opening of specialized boutiques under the brands “Chaudron Pewter”, “Etain Chaudron”, “Gravure Et Trophees Chaudron” and the exclusive salon “Les Etains fin De Val-David”. Today, Chaudron’s creations occupy a place of honor in museum collections, and are also highly valued at international auctions among connoisseurs of the unique art of costume jewelry.
