De Thorda is an Austrian brand of costume jewelry, founded in 1960 in Vienna.
History of creation
The Atelier De Thorda company produced handmade jewelry in limited quantities. Traditionally, gold-plated metal alloys, art glass, enamel and bakelite were used.

The design of the products was progressive for its time – bright bracelets, earrings, necklaces and brooches with a geometric accent. The marking had the De Thorda seal in a beautiful font on an oval cartouche and the copyright symbol. Some products had a hand signature in black enamel, sometimes on the front side.

The company was located at the address: Haselbrunner Str. 8, Vienna, 1237.
Production ceased in the 1980s.

Collections and products
Products of the De Thorda brand are today considered vintage and collectible. For example, the company’s vintage clips, made in 1970–1979, can be purchased in the online store “Masters Fair”.
