The workshop was founded by the spouses Abraham and Pnina Gofer in the early 1950s. They created unique products in the styles of abstractionism, art deco and avant-garde.
In 1956, the Gofers opened their own ceramics workshop in Israel. The assortment included not only jewelry, but also decorative panels, wall plaques and ceramic tiles.
The workshop ceased to exist before 2000. Products with the Gofer brand became popular among collectors.
As of May 5, 2024, the official GOFER trademark with identification number 957229 was registered on August 1, 2023, the copyright holder is Anatoly Vladimirovich Nizhebovsky.
